About Me
My name is Brandon Kramer, and I am a master's student studying journalism at Hofstra University. I received my bachelor's in English from Wheaton College in Massachusetts. I have been a sports writer for several publications since 2018.

I’m a sports writer with a passion for telling the stories behind the game. I got my start at Unhinged New York, where I published over 100 articles covering the New York Yankees and New York Giants. From breaking down game highlights to exploring player narratives, I loved diving deep into the teams that shape New York sports.

I also worked with WorldBaseball.com as both a writer and lead social media producer. There, I helped grow the brand’s online presence and created original baseball content, including videos for their YouTube channel. Whether through articles or multimedia, I’m driven by a love of the game and a commitment to engaging sports fans everywhere.

Mental health is deeply personal to me. I've struggled with anxiety for as long as I can remember, but it truly began to affect me during my high school baseball career, where it started to impact my performance on the field. At the time, I searched for answers but found very little. There were no athletes I looked up to — no one speaking openly about the mental health challenges that so many of us quietly face.
Since then, I’ve carried with me a desire to create a project that shines a light on the ongoing mental health crisis in sports — an issue that still doesn’t get nearly the attention it deserves. To tell this story in a meaningful way, I’ve made it my mission to gather and share as many personal stories as possible. I believe that the more people speak openly about their experiences, the more we can break the stigma and offer hope to others.
Through this platform, I aim to amplify those voices. If sharing these stories can inspire even one person and remind them they’re not alone, then it will have been worth it.
